[10]Splitting Image date back to the late eighties. Inspired by British Punkrock and Kreuzberger riots they quickly established themselves as a well booked support for bands such as UK Subs, Captain Sensible or 999 . In 1993 they released their first EP “Just a little bit o’ luck” with classics such as “Happy Dead Men” and “Homeless”. Founding members Hansen and Clive decided to go different ways in 2002. Clive (CeeGee) went back to his hometown Leicester UK and Splittin’ Image was put to bed. In 2015 that Punk bug wouldn’t let go and they decided to come back with a bang. They recruited Noppa (gitarre), Martini Martin (Bass) and the sweet Arianna Platania (Drums), who had all previously played in punkrock formations well known to the local scene and beyond. They were soon support for the Toten Hosen , The Outcasts and Slaughter and the Dogs, where they did not fail to make their own mark. A four song EP was recorded early 2017 and Splitting Image are once again ready to embark on another fantastic punkrock journey. Come sing with us…..
